Process
Step 1: Explore It! In this step, you will examine and explore the multiple links on the Task page. These sites will help you to see what types of things to do in Washington, DC. You will then chose at least SEVEN places that you would like to visit. In addition, include one restaurant that you would like to eat at and explain why.
Step 2: Document It! In this step, you will fill in the chart titled POINTS OF INTEREST This chart will help you gather important information about your choices. You will research and document at least SEVEN points of interest that you would like to have on your trip to Washington, DC.
Step 3: Map It! Next, use the VIRTUAL MAP link to see where your choices are located. After you have found them, you can map out your route using the Google Map link.
Step 4: Present It! In this final step, you will gather all the information you have collected from Steps 1-3 and create a travel brochure or a travel diary using PowerPoint. You presentation should include the following: a) a title slide with a title and author's name, b) one slide per point of interest (no more), c) a map of your points of interest, and d) a conclusion slide. PLEASE make sure that you have multiple pictures for each point of interest as well important and interesting facts. All slide information should be written in good sentence form.
